Die Karosserie bleibt versiegelt, wodurch sich die aufwendige Sponsoren-Lackierung ohne Unterbrechung durch Türfugen über die gesamte Fläche zieht. Die blaue Subaru-Werksfarbe mit den charakteristischen gelben Rallye-Felgen ist fabrikfertig und präzise aufgetragen, die Startnummer 7 sowie Fahrer- und Beifahrernamen sind scharf im Tampondruck-Verfahren umgesetzt. In diesem Format entfaltet der Impreza eine Präsenz, die ein 1:18-Modell kaum erreicht.
Der Impreza WRC als Meisterschaftswagen 2003
Petter Solberg gewann 2003 den Fahrer-Weltmeistertitel der Rallye-WM mit Subaru, und die Entscheidung fiel bei der Rally Great Britain, wo er den Titel mit einem eigenen Etappensieg besiegelte. Dieser Erfolg machte Solberg zum ersten und bislang einzigen norwegischen Weltmeister im Rallyesport und den Impreza WRC zu einer der bekanntesten Rallye-Baureihen überhaupt.
